The platform in one story
7 min read- Deliver the ninety-second platform story unprompted
- Explain the three consoles and who lives in each
- Reframe "it's an MDM" into the platform position
Every deal starts with the same unspoken question: why this platform? You need an answer that takes ninety seconds, doesn't lean on a feature list, and leaves room for discovery. Here it is.
The story
WeGuard manages your device fleet — Android, Apple, and Windows — from one console: enrollment at any scale, policy that keeps every device the way IT intends, and remote action when something goes wrong. Around that core sits the We-suite: live fleet tracking, secure content delivery, team communication, device protection, remote support, and patching. Most customers arrive needing device management; they stay because the suite replaces three or four other subscriptions they were paying for around it.
That last sentence is the pivot from cost line to consolidation story — and consolidation is a CFO word.
Three consoles, three audiences
The platform is really three portals sharing one engine:
- The customer console — where IT admins run their fleet day to day.
- The reseller console — your home as a partner: create and manage customer tenants, author and assign plans, handle billing and white-label.
- The super-admin console — platform operations, above both.
Knowing this map matters in the room: when a prospect asks "can we manage our own sub-clients?", the reseller hierarchy — distributor → reseller → sub-reseller → customer — is a real, in-product answer, not a roadmap promise.
Say the honest line early
Platform coverage: Android, Apple (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS), and Windows today; Linux and ChromeOS in progress. Volunteer it before you're asked. Nothing builds trust in a crowded market faster than a vendor rep who states scope without being cornered — and nothing burns a partnership faster than a coverage overclaim surfacing mid-deployment.
